Measure goals by their habits, let habits update your goals, and keep a number in range

Measure a goal like "Stay fit and healthy" by how consistently you keep its habits, or let a habit add each ride's kilometers to your cycling goal. You can also keep a number inside a range, like your weight, and split a big number into sub targets with their own deadlines. This release also adds chart tooltips, fixes the goal and project count on life areas, and makes the thousands separator more reliable.
Features
Habit completion goals: Track a goal like "Stay fit and healthy" by how consistently you keep its habits. Pick "Habit completion" under "Success metric" and set the average you aim for, like 80%. On Desktop, the "Habit progress" card shows how each habit is doing. Read our help center article for how progress is calculated.
Habits that update your goals (Beta): Complete a habit and it moves a goal's number, like adding each ride's kilometers to "Cycle 1000km". Set it up under "On complete" in the habit: add or subtract a fixed amount, or pass on the value you log that day. One habit can update several goals. Read our help center article for setup steps.
Keep a number in range: Set a goal's "Mode" to "Maintain" to keep a number inside a range, like your weight between 84 and 86 kg. The goal shows a checkmark while you're on track and a warning when you're not, instead of a percentage.
Sub targets: Break a big goal into checkpoints, like 25k by March on the way to 100k. Add a subgoal, pick "Sub target" under "Success metric", and one log moves the main goal and every sub target.
Improvements
Subtract from a goal: Next to "Add to total", the "Update progress" dialog now has "Detract from total", for refunds, spending or anything else that lowers your number.
Projects count toward goal progress: A goal measured by "Subgoals / Projects" now averages in its projects, so finished project work moves the goal forward.
Success metric in the goal dialog: Choose how a goal is measured under "Success metric", right in the goal dialog instead of a separate window.
Chart tooltips: Hover over a point on a goal's progress chart to see the value on that date and how much it changed.
Goal charts in Insights: Habit completion goals and sub targets show the same chart in Insights as on the goal itself.
Focus on new sections (Desktop): When you create a section, Griply now puts the focus on it, so you can add tasks to it right away.
Habit charts by year (Desktop): Habit bar charts that cover more than one year now group their bars by year.
Fixes
Fixed a bug where a life area showed the wrong number of goals and projects.
Fixed a bug where the thousands separator didn't always show correctly in numbers.
