July Desktop Improvements & Fixes
This update is all about making your experience smoother and more reliable, with key fixes for the calendar, habits, and task progress tracking.
General
Long URLs in tasks were not displayed correctly in the task dialog and would overflow or get cut off.
It was not possible to select the search field on the "All Results" page.
Prices in the premium dialog are now localized to match the user's region.
Additional subscription statuses (such as “trial” or “expired”) are now shown in the app for easier subscription management.
When creating a new task, the start time now always defaults to 09:00. Only the duration is shown as “9h,” avoiding confusion.
The first color in the color picker was not selectable.
Duplicating a tag in the tag detail view didn’t create a new tag.
Duplicating a task within the tag detail view didn’t work.
Life areas without linked goals were hidden in the "All Tasks" view, even when they contained tasks.
Time slots are now filtered out from the "All Tasks" lists.
In the Today view on web, when tasks were grouped by type, the “Show habits” toggle had no effect.
The grid order of Lifescan cards in the Insights section now matches the order used for goals and habits.
Calendar
The monthly calendar view showed dates shifted by one day.
Archived and completed habits were still displayed in the calendar when they should have been hidden.
Clicking a day in the monthly calendar now opens a new task for that specific day.
The “Hide habits” option in the monthly calendar view didn’t function correctly.
Subgoal deadlines were not clickable in the month view.
In the "Upcoming" calendar section, clicking the arrows now correctly moves by a week, a month, or 4 days.
The "More" menu in the all-day section was not dismissed when clicking outside of it.
Goal Timeline & Goal Detail View
Improved dark mode styling for the Goal Timeline.
Setting a date on a task within the goal detail view now correctly updates the goal’s progress based on task completion.
Goal progress now shows one decimal for greater accuracy.
Custom progress targets now display their actual label instead of “custom.”
Habits
Filtering habits in the Upcoming section didn’t work.
The next due date for habits could differ between the iOS and Desktop app. This is now consistent across platforms.
In the habit overview screen, the empty state did not fill the full screen height.
The next occurrence was not shown for newly created repeating tasks.
Completing a habit didn’t always reset its subtasks for the next occurrence.
